How many tweezers does the Silken have?
It has 18 tweezers to remove hair quickly and comfortably from the root.

Do I need to add batteries to the Silken?
No. The Emjoi Silken is a rechargeable hair remover so you just need to charge it for 16-18 hours initially then 6-8 hours as needed to remove hair anywhere without the hassle or cords and batteries.

If I do not have time to charge my Silken can I use it while it is plugged in?
No. Do not use the Silken while it is plugged in to an electrically outlet. You must charge then Emjoi Silken then remove it from the plug in order to use it.

Can I use it on my face?
Yes. You can use the Emjoi Silken for individual hairs on the upper lip, chin and cheek area.

How can I clean the Silken?
You can use the brush provided to remove hair from the tweezers. To remove residue you can use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol, that has been squeezed dry so it is not soaking wet, and brush it over the tweezers. Make sure your unit is turned OFF.

Does the Silken hurt?
The first time you use Emjoi Silken you might feel a pricking sensation. This is because your hair is being removed from the root. After several uses the tweezing becomes more comfortable, even for those with sensitive skin.

Why do I have red bumps?
With any epliation method, the red bumps that may appear are temporarily swollen follicles. They will disappear overnight.
