hurt?
A: The first time you use the Emjoi OptiMax you might feel a prickling
sensation. This feeling is due to the fact that you are removing hair
from the root. After several uses the tweezing becomes more
comfortable.
How should I hold
the Emjoi OptiMax?
A: Hold the Emjoi OptiMax in the palm of your hand or with your
fingertips. Hold the unit so the discs are at a 90° angle with the
area you wish to remove hair from, both sets of pulling agents should
be held flat against the skin.
Can I use this
unit on my upper lip?
A : Yes. You can use the Emjoi OptiMax to remove individual hairs on
the upper lip and chin but you must hold the unit so only one
of the epilation heads is parallel with the skin. Do not
use both sets of epilation heads on the body.
Can I use the
Emjoi OptiMax on my body?
A: Yes. You can use the Emjoi OptiMax on your legs, bikini line and
underarms. Since the bikini line and underarms are sensitive areas we
recommend you to hold the surrounding skin taut to minimize
discomfort.
Why does the OptiMax

A: It minimizes discomfort, by stretching the skin taut, and it
removes a maximum amount of hair in a minimum amount of time. The
design of the Emjoi OptiMax head channels flat and short hair into the

A: Yes. The Emjoi OptiMax is a rechargeable hair remover that can be
