How It Works
Topical Shen Min is
comprised of the 4-phase serum that utilizes a patented proprietary mulit-phase
delivery system technology by which layers of each component are
isolated and delivered to the follicle over a time-released (6) hour
period.
- Phase I is designed
to stimulate and increase the cellulose activity and metabolism of the
hair follicle with patented Retinyl Palmatate as the primary component
while utilizing other secondary stimulatory components as adjuncts to
the retinoid for the stimulation of the follicle at the receptor
sites. The combination of the patented retinoid along with the
other adjunctive ingredients of the serum cause elevated DNA synthesis
in Keratinocytes in the cell cultures. This stimulates the cells
of the follicle root sheath and the dermal papillae which in turn
cause the hair follicle to become activated thereby increasing the
rate at which they grow and at the same time extending the anagen/growth
phase.
- Phase II of the
formula utilizes various components as vasodilators which aid in the
hair growth and hair follicle stimulation by increasing the blood
supply to the microvasculature around the follicle, thereby allowing
more nutrients to enter the cells and more waste products to be
carried away.
- Phase III utilizes
saw palmetto, Biotin and a Trichopeptide to inhibit 5-Alpha reductase
